Ken has been lead pastor of EMBC since 2014.  Prior to coming to Elmwood he was an associate pastor and served in local and global missions. 

As of Spring 2023, Ken has his Masters in Theological Studies from Trinity Divinity School. He has been married to Shonet for 25 years and together they have three teenage children.

Marni has been part of the Elmwood community her entire life and has been on staff since 2001. Her passion for music extends well beyond Elmwood, as she sings and tours with several choirs. Outside of music, Marni enjoys spending time with her family, especially at the cottage during the summer months.

She has been married to Rob for 31 years, and together they have three adult daughters, two sons-in-law, one grandson, and two dogs.

Wilfred has been attending Elmwood and on staff since 2017. Previously, he was a home care attendant for 14 years and also attended Columbia Bible College and Swift Current Bible Institute. He enjoys writing poetry in his free time. He and his wife Gloria have been married for 34 years and they have three adult daughters and one son-in-law and two grandchildren. 

Matt Oliver grew up in Winnipeg, attending Faith Academy Highschool where he came to trust in Jesus as Saviour and Lord. After several years of parachurch ministry he completed four years of study at Millar College of the Bible in 2020. God has called him to pastor for the past 6 years, first in Saskatchewan and currently at EMBC. Matt is happily married to Erin and together they have three children.

Melanie has worked and volunteered in Christian ministry in Canada and overseas for over 25 years, focusing primarily on children and youth. She graduated from Briercrest Bible College with a Bachelor of Arts in Intercultural Studies. She has been attending EMBC for over seven years, and became a member in 2026.

Melanie has three adult sons who live with her while completing their college degrees and getting settled in the workforce. In addition to this part-time job, she also works for Generation Rising, a faith-based non-profit organization dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty in Latin America through Christ-centred education.
